A woman in Florida was arrested Tuesday after police discovered a marijuana grow house in Brooksville.
According to officials with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Department, a house located on the 12, 000 block of Sun Road, contained 71 marijuana plants. A shed on the property also contained 31 plants, deputies say. The arrest affidavit says the plants were each about a foot and a half tall, and growing under artificial lights.
Deputies also discovered thirty potted marijuana plants and a large plastic bag containing thirty-seven rotting marijuana plants.
“The plants had visible root structure and had been harvested from,” according to the arrest affidavit.
Police arrested 44 year-old Rhonda Quince who admitted to selling the marijuana to help pay bills. She was charged with cultivating marijuana. Authorities also arrested 52 year-old Jefferey Scott Wagner for the same charge.

Palm Bay police arrested a teenage boy Monday, in connection with a series of brush fires in the city last week.
According to officials with the Palm Bay Police Department, a 14 year-old boy admitted to setting five small brush fires around the city last week. Police say they do not believe the boy is connected to over sixty other brush fires that have occurred in the city since November.
Police say the teenager admitted to setting the brush fires because he was angry with residents who lived in the area. No damage resulted from the fires.
The boy admitted to setting fires on Alminar Avenue, Southeast Wade Street, Southeast Gulfport Road, Southeast Salina Street, and Sourhteast Merrimac Street.
The boy will likely be charged with misdemeanor reckless and unlawful burning of land.

Authorities say a man robbed the Florida Capital Bank at 1801 South Federal Highway at around 6:00 p.m. on Monday and brandished a handgun while demanding money. During a struggle with the robber and bank employees, the bank manager was reportedly shot in the stomach.
The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash and Boca Raton police are still trying to identify the suspect.
