Last week, a Boca Raton man was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery and violation of an injunction for domestic violence.

The man, 34-year old Zaheer Ali, followed and attacked his estranged wife after noticing that she had accepted an ex-boyfriend as a friend on the social networking site Facebook.  Ali went to their daughter’s school, Banyan Creek Elementary in Delray Beach, when his wife was supposed to be picking the girl up from school.  After Ali confronted his wife, the two argued until he began to punch her and twist her arm trying to grab her car keys.

Prior to the incident, a judge had issued a restraining order against Ali to prevent him from contact with his estranged wife.
