Florida Firearm Discharge Laws
In the state of Florida there are a number of laws restricting when and where a firearm may be knowingly discharged. In Florida firearms cannot be knowingly discharged in the following locations:
- In any public place
- On the right of way of any paved public road, street, or highway
- Over any street, road, highway or occupied building
These laws do not apply in the case of property defense, the defense of life, when approved for hunting, or in the performance of official duties.
